The Ecopark was under enemy fire from the first days of the full-scale invasion

In Kharkiv, Feldman Ecopark will open the first location Valley of Alpacas for visitors on June 1, in time for International Children's Day.

The territory of the location is relatively small, it will be demined and made safe for visitors, says the Facebook page of the ecopark.

It is noted that, as before the full-scale invasion, a free bus will run from Kharkiv.

The message emphasized that alpacas are one of the best therapeutic animals. They are already being prepared to return home.

As you know, the ecopark was under enemy fire from the first days of the full-scale invasion, and combat operations took place in that area for several weeks. The animals were threatened with starvation. In addition, kangaroos died from the shelling, and about 20 deer fled to the nearby forest.

Earleir, EcoPolitic wrote, that two workers were killed in Kharkiv during the shelling of Feldman Ecopark. People came to feed the animals once every 3 days. Ecopark employees did everything possible to save the remaining animals.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, the iron ore pellet production company Ferrexpo Ukraine actively joined the evacuation of animals from Kharkiv's Feldman Ecopark.
