Residents took advantage of the Greendome Program from the State Energy Efficiency Fund

The Greenwood-2 condominium in the village of Bryukhovychi, Lviv region, has equipped all of its buildings with solar power plants (SPPs).

The Energy Efficiency Fund told about the implementation of this project and its main indicators.

The residential complex consists of 4 buildings. A solar station was placed on the roof of each of them. Thanks to their generation, the buildings have their own roof boilers, individual heating points, water supply and heating pumps, and lighting for common areas.

During the non-heating season, it is possible to switch the backup power supply for the elevators.

Key indicators of the Greenwood-2 condominium project

The building at 92 Lvivska Street

The total cost of the project is UAH 1.164 million, of which UAH 729.5 thousand is a grant from the Energy Efficiency Fund.

In this house, we installed:

  • solar panels with a capacity of 21.3 kW;
  • batteries with a capacity of 20.5 kW;
  • an inverter with a capacity of 20 kW.

The cost of the work for one apartment (60 m²) was approximately UAH 3,565.

Projected savings:

  • UAH 86,857 in annual savings on electricity consumption for the entire building;
  • annual energy savings for the entire building – 20110 kWh.

The house at 92 A Lvivska Street

The total cost of the project is similar to the cost of the previous building – UAH 1.164 million. Of this amount, UAH 729.5 thousand was covered by a grant from the Energy Efficiency Fund.

These funds were used to install a similar set of equipment as at 92 Lvivska Street.

The cost of the work for one apartment (60 m²) was about UAH 6,000.

Projected savings:

  • UAH 86,857 in annual savings on electricity consumption for the entire building;
  • annual energy savings for the entire building – 20110 kWh.

House at 1 A Lvivska Bichna Street

The total cost of the project for this house is UAH 553.6 thousand, of which UAH 354.3 thousand was provided by the Energy Efficiency Fund.

The following equipment was installed here:

  • solar panels with a capacity of 10.5 kW;
  • batteries with a capacity of 10.2 kW;
  • an inverter with a capacity of 10 kW.

The cost of the work for one apartment (60 m²) in this building was the lowest of all – about UAH 2712.

Projected savings:

  • annual energy savings for the entire building – UAH 14230
  • annual energy savings for the entire building – 3310 kWh.

House at 1 B Lvivska Bichna Street

The total cost of the project amounted to UAH 685.5 thousand. A grant from the Energy Efficiency Fund covered UAH 452.8 thousand of this amount.

These funds were used to equip the house with

  • solar panels with a capacity of 14 kW;
  • 15.4 kW batteries;
  • 12 kW inverter.

The cost of the work for one apartment (60 m²) cost the residents about UAH 6,000.

Projected savings:

  • annual energy savings for the entire building – UAH 5,814
  • annual energy savings for the entire building – 1350 kWh.

Recently, EcoPolitic reported that two SPPs were installed in Mykolaiv for the city's medical institutions – a hospital and a maternity hospital.

Earlier, we also told you about the Geneva Dnipro condominium, whose residents will save about half a million hryvnias a year thanks to a solar power plant.
