The platform was down for more than 2 weeks

The national environmental platform EcoSystem resumed operations after a temporary suspension of services on September 22.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The ministry said that all technical settings and legal procedures have been completed, and the services are working stably. In particular, all user data has been saved. The shutdown of the EcoSystem led to complications in business processes and economic activities, and citizens could not receive information about environmental threats during the war.

In particular, the Ministry of Economy did not officially state the reason for the suspension of services on the EcoSystem platform. Instead, representatives of SaveDnipro believe that the reason for the possible suspension of EcoSystem was the liquidation of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

What is the “EcoSystem” platform?

EcoSystem is a state-owned online platform that unites 38 environmental registries and provides 25 administrative services in the environmental sector. It allows citizens and businesses to obtain permits, submit reports and check environmental data without queues and paperwork.

We remind EcoPolitic readers that on September 22, the State Platform EcoSystem stopped providing administrative services.

According to representatives of SaveDnipro, in August, they sent a collective appeal to the Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev and the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, warning of the risks of stopping the work of the Unified Ecological Platform EcoSystem.
