Now, he can either receive a fine of up to UAH 68 thousand or go to jail for up to 2 years

The chief state inspector of the State Agency for the Development of Land Reclamation, Fisheries, and Food Programs of Kyiv Region did not indicate an apartment worth almost UAH 3.5 million or a car in his annual declaration for 2024.

This fact was discovered by employees of the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI), who handed him a suspicion of declaring false information.

The official purchased the aforementioned 98.2 sq. m apartment in Brovary in 2024 and registered it in his wife's name. In his declaration, the official also “forgot” to mention a car, which was also registered to his wife. In addition, the value of this vehicle was underestimated several times in the purchase agreement.

SBI employees gathered evidence confirming that the suspect deliberately did not provide truthful information.
