Public organizations TiKO FUND and Recycle have created a scheme under which all eco-conscious citizens can sort garbage, hand it over for recycling, and use the proceeds to help children living in orphanages.
Eco-activists told about this on their Facebook page.
They gave a vivid example, when students and teachers of the Technical Lyceum of the Shevchenkiv district of Kyiv earned and donated UAH 1,000 for one export of recyclables.
"This money actually came from nothing and could have gone into the trash. But they will help children of orphanages", says TiKO FUND.
They called on everyone who cares to sort with them in order to help Ukrainian children with the benefit of the environment and without harming the family budget.
Here procedure for those who want to join:
- Sorting garbage.
- The Recycle Courier collects it at no charge for removal.
- Money for recycled materials is sent to the official account of TiKO FUND.
- Activists buy and donate the help that children need.
- TiKO FUND reports on spent funds.
