Currently, the SES generates 3 MW

In the Mykolaiv region, 60% of the generating capacity of the 5.7 MW solar power plant of the Niko Solar company was restored.

The SPP was restored in 40 days, the press service reports DTEK in Telegram.

It is noted that the station was almost completely destroyed by the Russian invaders. It was possible to restore its work thanks to the cooperation of the energy companies of "Niko Solar" and "DTEK VDE". Currently, the SPP generates 3 MW and already provides the residents of Mykolaiv Oblast with energy.

In the message, it was emphasized that this is the first such external project of "DTEK VDE" after the successful experience of restoring the Trifonivska HPP.

"DTEK VDE energy workers are always ready to help restore other green generation facilities in order to strengthen Ukraine's energy security," the press service of DTEK noted.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in March 2023 in the de-occupied Kherson region, specialists of the company "DTEK VDE" restored the operation of the Trifonivska solar power plant by 50%. The SPP was able to generate 5 MW of its installed capacity of 10 MW.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in the Mykolaiv Oblast due to the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP, flooded two solar power plants. Water also flooded the pumping station of the Kherson thermal power plant and damaged 129 transformer substations.
