The Kärcher WTC 5000 mobile water purification station, capable of purifying about 5,000 liters per hour, went into operation in the Mykolayiv region.

The station will be moved between settlements whose residents suffer from a shortage of drinking water due to the occupiers undermining the dam of the Kakhovskaya HPP, the State Water Resources Agency reports on Facebook.

It is noted that the station was provided by the German Federal Agency for Technical Assistance with the assistance of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.

The message emphasized that the Kärcher station is capable of purifying water from various sources to drinking quality in accordance with international standards. Thanks to several stages of purification and filtration, impurities and pollutants are removed from the water.

The press service added that specialists of the State Water Agency have received appropriate training on the operation and maintenance of the station.

"The State Water Agency highly values ​​partnership relations with European colleagues and expresses gratitude to the German Federal Agency for Technical Assistance (THW, Technisches Hilfswerk) for the assistance provided," the message emphasized.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, said that there will be an outbreak in the region a serious environmental problem in 2-3 weeks due to the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, due to the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP, the Nikopol and part of the Kryvorizky districts Dnipropetrovsk Region was left without water supply.
