Dobrodia company started production of pellets from production waste at its plant for the production of oatmeal and grain-based products .
These pellets will provide the plant's own energy needs for the grain dryer, which switched to solid fuel heating in 2021, reports Dobrodia TM on Facebook.
Pallets will be made from production waste (oat husks) and elevator waste (sunflower cleaning waste).
The press service noted that the main orientations of the company's development are environmental friendliness and the transition to alternative energy sources.
The message explained that such a transition took place within the framework of the Sustainable Development Strategy of the managing company Agricom Group. It involves a complete rejection of the use of natural gas and the replacement of the use of most of the electricity at the enterprise with solar energy.
